Medico Blood Glucose Monitor

The Medico Blood Glucose Monitor is used to check blood sugar (glucose) at home. A small drop of blood is taken from the fingertip with a lancing device, applied to a test strip, and read by the meter in seconds, giving a snapshot of the current glucose level.

A complete blood glucose monitoring setup includes:

• Glucose meter – the device that reads and displays the result.
• Test strips – single-use strips that react with the blood.
• Lancet – a small, sterile needle.
• Lancing device – holds the lancet and controls the depth of the prick.
